DOTP - Dioctyl Terephetehalate

“When the physical and chemical properties of DOTP and DOP are compared, they are almost indistinguishable from each other.”

D.O.T.P. What is (Dioctyl Terephthalate)?

DOTP is used extensively in the cable industry, artificial leather industry, PVC flooring production, shoe sole manufacturing, plastic ball production, PVC door-window seal production and PVC granule production. These chemicals, called plasticizers, are used in finishing PVC, rubber and many other thermoplastic materials, facilitating flow and regulating flow mechanics. It provides softening and unbreakable properties to all plastic groups.

WHY D.O.T.P.?

Due to the explanations given below and the superior properties of DOTP compared to other plasticizers, it is recommended that businesses take into consideration the benefits it will provide in terms of cost and quality.

When the physical and chemical properties of DOTP and DOP are compared, they are almost indistinguishable from each other. However, their differences are in their structure. DOTP is terephthalate and is structurally very different from orthophthalate esters such as DOP, DIDP and DINP. This difference in their structure reveals the superior properties of DOTP.
